Abstract

In the posthumous fragment 18[17]. july-august 1888, that is a notation for a new project ("Us, the Hyperboreans"), the third book entitled "Conflict of values" would have three chapters: 1) Thoughts about Christianity; 2) On the physiology of art; 3) About the history of European nihilism.  But if Nietzsche thought the question of the physiology of art from the "conflict of values", it seems to be significant to explore this note (that comes before the final project of The transvaluation of all values, drawn at the end of August 1888),to understand the axiological perspectives that led Nietzsche to write The case of Wagner and Nietzsche Contra Wagner.
