Abstract

This article is part of our thesis of doctorate entitled: “Of the perception to the  radical vision of the world: the condition of opening of the plan of images on the course of  Merleau-Ponty”, presented at University of São Paulo and have the central aim to analyze the concept of similarity at the pictorials images according to Maurice Merleau-Ponty (1908–1961), mainly in the phenomenology phase of the philosopher that  evidence the sense of perception like a open presence in the world in a space where we go with intention. In this way, is possible to see the similarity like a pictorial act that get to surpass the pure representation outlined in   the classical shapes to conceive the world. Thus, we developed   the thesis of a plan of images like a parallel fact present in this act pictorial, that get make a structural organization of the works in order to be seen by the subject of perception; with this outline, the similarity it becomes more arranged.
