Abstract

Finding once more a previous “there to be", an original meaning through a thought that escapes metaphysics and objectivity categories, and which places itself in the realm of the world of life: this is the proposal that brings the philosophy of Heidegger and Merleau Ponty close together. From this critical onto-phenomenological approach, this article analyzes technique in its ambivalence, both as operational thinking (which is the target of criticism) and  in its original formulation, established in the pre-reflexive framework of thought that asks about itself. For this, we start not from a criticism to technique itself, or what it says of the being, but from its regional hegemony whose claim is to report the real in its integrality. The result of such criticism, in both authors, goes through the rise of artistic thought and poetic language as ways of thinking the being as a sensitive one.

Keywords: Heidegger, Merleau-Ponty, onto-phenomenology, technique, operational thinking.
